A cottage in the mountains for Easter

The long-awaited spring is finally here! With it, the days are getting longer and the sun is getting warmer. Beautiful weather also does not exclude Podhale and the vicinity of Zakopane. Therefore, let’s spend this Easter together in the mountains! We invite you to our houses, to spend Easter with your family and admire the mountain nature awakening to life.

Tatra nature

Lovely crocuses are already blooming in the lower shelves on green meadows and pastures. In slightly higher parts of the mountains, you can encounter primroses, gypsophila and cardamine glanduligera. However, in a nearby flower shop we can buy daffodils for the Easter table.

We can also find the Easter lamb here not only as a decoration on the table. After April 23, i.e. after St. Wojciech begins the ceremonial sheep grazing in the Tatras, known as the redyk. The mountain glades then open to numerous herds of these lovable fluffy creatures, long-awaited after the winter break. And if we are lucky, on the trail we may also see a mountain chamois, or a marmot, carelessly sipping water from a crystal-clear brook under the crag.

All these attractions are a perfect occasion to spend Easter in one of our luxurious highlander houses. Thanks to our quiet location, the upcoming Christmas will not only be an opportunity to spend time with your loved ones, but also to catch your breath, take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle and meet the awakened beautiful nature.

The amazing panorama of the Tatra Mountains, stretching out behind our windows, can be an inspiration for unusual patterns on Easter eggs. In the evening, after a day-long trip, you can relax in the warmth of a cozy fireplace or in a sauna or a hot garden hot tub. All this without the need to plan Easter dishes – because catering or highlander inn in Zakopane will do it for you.

We will take care of the appropriate decor of houses, thanks to Easter decorations that will provide our guests with a festive atmosphere. For interested guests, we will prepare baskets to bless and organize a ride to the church in a horse-drawn cart. If the weather is good, our spacious garden can be an ideal arena to celebrate Śmigus-dyngus, known in Podhale tradition as “Polewacka”.
