ON A QUIET SIDE OF ZAKOPANE

Villa Gorsky is located in a quiet nook of Poronin, at the foot of the aged Tatra Mountains, among picturesque meadows and lush forests. Our pride is three spacious, wooden, luxurious houses in the mountains, with a surface rarely seen in Podhale, and a cozy apartment. They are waiting for our guests in a green garden full of trees, shrubs and flowers, which in winter turns into a fairy-tale snow land, sparkling with thousands of lights.

More than 30 years ago, Zofia and Jan created the Gorsky brand in this charming place out of their passion for wooden products and Podhale sculpture. The name is related not only to the mountain location, but also to our family surname – Górscy. Our products, including handmade bowls and trays, can still be purchased on our website or viewed at our homes. Together with numerous antiques and hand-made furniture, they constitute an element of the design of our highlander interiors.

We are a family company with artistic and design education and a passion for Podhale. WIn our spare time, which is a bit lacking, we are happy to do pottery or even writing icons. You can also often see us in the garden, which is our next passion.

There are sculptors, painters, architects and designers among us. Over the years, the love for wood, nature and culture in Podhale has evolved and turned into the passion of the next generation of Górskis for design and architecture. This is also how our beautiful luxury homes for rent were built. We designed them ourselves and arranged their interiors, infusing the spirit of modern design into the spirit of Podhale. Most of our furniture was handcrafted by local craftsmen, and some gems were found in antique stores.

We love what we do, so our interiors repay us and our guests with their aura. What they all have in common is the love of wood, craftsmanship and emphasis on detail, while maintaining full comfort, convenience and usability. We achieve all this by focusing on natural materials of the highest quality.

Currently, the houses are managed by Anna – a product and interior designer by profession and education. Anna ensures contact with customers via the website, Instagram, Facebook or telephone. There are also Jan and Zofia on site, who make sure that our guests feel taken care of.

We are all fully committed to making even the most demanding guests satisfied and willing to come back to us. Even our nice cats – Mia and Nero, take care of it. They are great individualists whose true passion is the art of lying down and looking at the guests 🙂

The houses are the fruit of our love for this land and region – its art, culture, architecture and the richness of the natural environment.
